Caterina Filice teaches Developing Sustainable Business Models in the Luxury Sector at SUMAS.
Caterina Filice is a multifaceted design expert who has been working in Italy and internationally for 25 years in fields, such as Set & Costume design for multimedia events, Fashion and Textile design in the high-end and luxury sector. This wide range experience allowed her to gain awareness and skills on several design and production processes. She has worked for Brioni, Pinko, Kiton group, Pierluigi Fucci, ICE- Italian Trade Commission, Fiat, Honda, Mondadori, Nestlè, SKY, RCS editor, Intesa San Paolo bank, Coca Cola.
Her passion for the transmission of knowledge, brought her also to the educational field, where she has has worked, since 2005, as a professor, didactic coordinator and textile laboratory manager. She taught ‘Costume Design’, ‘Fabric manipulation’, ‘Textile design, ‘Fashion Collection Design’, ‘Fashion Sketching & Technical drawing’.
As a design consultant she has worked for the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development (UNIDO) on the project “Creative Mediterranean: creativity through resilience” based in Jordan.
Recently she has been involved in new and challenges projects in the sustainable tourism sector.
