As a Business School our role is to help the future generations think through the consequences of these significant changes for commercial prosperity, societal and personal well being.

Sustainability at Our Campus includes:

  • Paperless classes
  • Use of rainwater for toilets and irrigation
  • Heat recuperation from refrigerators to produce hot water
  • 1 million CHF solar parc from Romande Energie Renouvelable that also provides energy back to the Swiss electricity grid
  • Energy efficient lighting
  • Local and recycled building materials
  • Geothermal heating and a decentralized carbon dioxide controlled air supply system

SUMAS is also a part of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME ) initiative and The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC ) initiative.
