What is the Duration of the Program?
During the last two years of high-school, students are invited to take part in our Career-related Studies focusing on Sustainability Management. The complete Business & Sustainability study plan consists of 240 guided learning hours in class (that is equivalent to High-Level subjects within the IB program) and 150 hours of an applied learning experience (that is equivalent to Standard Level subjects within IB program).
What Courses are Offered During this Program?
Through this program, students will gain a deep understanding of sustainability management within organisations and will learn how various functional areas can contribute to creating value for both business and society. The courses that will be covered during this program are:
- Fundamentals of Sustainability
- Sustainable Innovation
- Leadership
More specifically, by the end of this program, the students will be able to:
- Discuss the environmental impact of business operations and identify the underlying activities.
- Distinguish responsible management practices in various business contexts.
- Demonstrate a mindset that embraces the values of sustainable development and nature conservation.
- Effectively communicate influence, and motivate others for sustainability.
Alongside the Business & Sustainability courses, students participate in both a Sustainability Leadership Experience / Camp and an Integrative Project.
Online Learning and School Learning
For students who are not enrolled in one of our affiliated schools, we offer the opportunity to learn Online. Our Online program uses a variety of tools to ensure your education imitates a business environment. These tools include simulations, forums, case studies, video analysis, live classes, and Q&A sessions.
For students that are enrolled with one of our affiliated schools (see below), we aim to integrate your CrS® learning with your everyday school environment. Our program will be live-streamed to your school and use interactive online platforms to engage with you.
Our programs allow students to link with an international network and offer them the opportunity to choose tracks in Nature Conservation, Sustainable Hospitality (Switzerland), or Sustainable Fashion (Italy)
