Gland, Switzerland – 04th December 2018 – Sustainability Management School (SUMAS), one of the world’s leading Business schools has appointed Mr. Giovanni Ciserani as Director of Graduate Programs and Strategic Consultancies. In this role, Mr. Ciserani will be responsible for managing doctoral seminars and MBA leadership trainings at SUMAS.
Since graduating from Bocconi University, Milan, Mr. Ciserani has gained extensive international experience in building brands, leveraging sustainable development as well as applying innovation to both brands and business models. Mr. Ciserani brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in leadership, sustainability in international business development and organizational design.
Prior to his new position, he served as Group President, Global Fabric & Home Care, and Baby-Feminine Care Sectors at Procter & Gamble (P&G). During his 32-year executive career at P&G he acted as Vice-President of UK business and President Western Europe Operations in Geneva. During his career, Mr. Ciserani has spent time working in Italy, Germany, UK and Switzerland. An accomplished and inspirational leader, Mr. Ciserani, in 2018, has been nominated “Cavaliere del Lavoro” by the President of the Italian Republic.
In addition, Mr. Ciserani has been announced to become Chairman of the Board of Directors in April 2019 at Hero Group, Switzerland, following his appointment to the Board of Directors in March 2017.
Mr. Ciserani previously held the position of President at Associations des Industries de Marque and was on the board of Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce.
