The SUMAS Foundation Year is a flexible, one-year pathway program that combines rigorous academic learning with hands-on experience in leadership, entrepreneurship and sustainability management.
Designed as an undergraduate preparatory program, it bridges the gap between high school and a full bachelor’s degree — giving you the academic confidence, practical skills and professional mindset to succeed from day one of your BBA studies.
Whether you need a foundation year to strengthen your academic profile, a bridging program to meet entry requirements, or a college preparatory program that gives you real business experience, this pathway is built for you. On completion, you gain direct entry into the SUMAS BBA — with CHF 5,900 off your final year tuition.
Duration and Structure
The foundation program runs over two semesters. Semester one builds your academic core; semester two puts you to work on real entrepreneurial projects — coached by university professors with industry expertise.
