About the Speaker
Dr. Ashok Kumar is a metallurgical engineer, he has been part of the steel industry over the last four decades and has been though phases of being a metallurgist, production management, technology management, cost and strategy management. Dr. Ashok engaged with international steel community through Worldsteel Association (an industry body representing steel companies around the world) – including as Chair of Technology Committee over 2020-2022. He is currently working as the Head of Strategic Technical Development at Tata Steel UK
