With Sustainability at the heart of our Business school, our aim is to not only to prepare our students for the significant global challenges ahead, but to give them the leadership skills to empower a Sustainable future. As a Business School our role is to help the future generations think through the consequences of these significant changes for commercial prosperity, societal and personal well being.

Therefore as SUMAS, we take our role very seriously in every aspect of our institution.

Sustainability at Our Campus includes:

Paperless classes
Use of rainwater for toilets and irrigation
Heat recuperation from refrigerators to produce hot water
1 million CHF solar parc from Romande Energie Renouvelable that also provides energy back to the Swiss electricity grid
Energy efficient lighting
Local and recycled building materials
Geothermal heating and a decentralized carbon dioxide controlled air supply system

SUMAS is also a part of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME ) initiative and The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC ) initiative.

Sustainability Management School shares in the international pursuit of Sustainable Development and agrees to support the following:
