Ezio  Mario Francesco Ravaccia graduated from Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan with an Economics degree, he is member of the Italian Institute of Chartered Accountants and  the Italian Institute of Certified Public Accountant . He hold and INSEAD Executive Business certificate in Corporate Governance and an ESG Analysis and Investing Certificate from Politecnico di Milano  and CFA Society

In the past 15 years he has been working in the solar energy and cleantech sectors, building on a career that began in, equity analysis  venture capital, private equity infrastructure investments , M&A and IPO activities. He is regularly invited as a speaker at renewables conferences in Italy and abroad with particular focus on energy transition, green economy and climate tech  as well as ESG Investing and Venture Capital .

He is passionate about media and technology application as well as cleantech and ESG topics where he brings his long-term experience as Board member, entrepreneur and Venture capitalist. Over the past years he has also been involved in Corporate Governance topics being selected for a Global Director’s Programme and achieving an Independent Director Certificate from INSEAD Executive Business School.

Before joining Solar Ventures and being one of the Founders of Solar Ventures Capital, companies involved in the renewables energy and climatech investment and advisory  Ezio  was Head of Private Equity at Alicros. private equity business focuses on small to medium sized companies. Between 1999 and 2006 Ezio worked  for Pino Venture Partners, the first VC fund in the Italian market being the advisory company of KIWI funds (early stage venture capital funds with 610mln euro under management). He also spent part of his career as  senior equity analyst at Credit Lyonnais Securities in London, where he was engaged in fundamental equity research within the Italian research team and later on took the responsibility for the Italian Publishing and Media Industry research within the Pan –European research team. He was Extel rated in 1998 as one of best analysts for the Italian Market. Ezio started his career at Ernst Young with the Banking and Financial Services (FSI). He has been involved in assisting banking and financial institution clients in Milan and London.
