Julia Koroleva is Professor at Sustainability Management School (SUMAS) teaching sustainability-related subjects for bachelor, master and IBCP students. As a Doctoral Candidate at SUMAS she is implementing and coordinating a Partnership in collaboration with the UN Global Compact Russian Network with major focus on the Network Youth Contest ”Business Impact. Local Solutions to Global Problems”.
Julia has extensive research experience. She previously worked at the ITU, the United Nations agency specialized in information and communication technologies, where she developed a Sustainability Policy. She was also associate researcher at Earthmind, a not-for-profit association in the field of sustainable development and biodiversity conservation based at the IUCN Conservation Centre in Gland, Switzerland.
As a PR specialist with education at Moscow State University, she has over 10 years of project management experience. Julia is a Co-founder of Russian Ocean TV Channel dedicated to the World Ocean and environmental protection. She has conducted numerous ecological projects in partnership with WWF Russia. As a project manager, Julia has launched with EcoBureau GREENS a First Green Fitness Rating evaluating Moscow fitness clubs and centers for sustainability.
