Mark Farhat Giusti is a prominent figure in sustainable fashion, bringing creativity, expertise, and industry experience to his role as a professor at SUMAS. With a deep-rooted passion for sustainability, he specializes in “Designing for Sustainability” at the early stages of product lifecycles, focusing particularly on material sourcing within fashion and full product lifecycle management.

Mark’s innovative work has made him a sought-after consultant for international brands, advising on sustainable collection development and circular economy principles in an omnichannel retail environment.

 

Beyond his professional endeavours, Mark is deeply committed to social philanthropy, collaborating with major organizations such as the United Nations Development Programs in the Middle East and supporting several initiatives like the Build Africa charity, which focuses on community development and access to clean water and education.

 

As the founder of MARK / GIUSTI, a luxury brand renowned for crafting bags and accessories sustainably, Mark brings real-world insights to his teaching at SUMAS. His comprehensive expertise spans the fashion value chain, providing students with a holistic understanding of sustainable fashion management.
