Professor
Dr. Patrick Thill is an experienced Science Educator and Environmental Engineer, currently appointed as a Professor at the Sustainability Management School (SUMAS). With extensive experience spanning over a decade in sustainable development, project management, and educational programme development, he expertly blends a strong engineering background with a deep passion for education.
At SUMAS, Dr. Thill leads courses in Sustainable Project Management, International Business and Biodiversity, and Entrepreneurship. He also designs and delivers impactful workshops aimed at cultivating responsible leadership and systemic thinking, such as the Change and Systems Thinking DBA Workshop and the Sustainability Leadership Camp.
Additionally, Dr. Thill contributes to executive education through the ‘Corporate Training in Sustainability Management’ programme, aimed at empowering professionals with the tools and insights needed to lead in the sphere of sustainability. His commitment to sustainability and education is demonstrated through his contributions to academia and his efforts to apply his expertise to solve real-world challenges, nurturing the next generation of sustainability leaders.
